How to structure a skills section that works twice
A skills block has two readers with opposite needs. You can satisfy both.
A skills section is read by a search index that wants breadth and by a human who wants to know what you are actually good at. Most CVs pick one and annoy the other.
Group by capability, not by type
A wall of comma separated technologies is unreadable. Grouped lines with a bold label scan in seconds and index just as well. For an engineer that might be languages, backend, cloud, data, testing. For an architect, BIM and CAD, design and documentation, codes and approvals, construction and site.
Order within each line matters
Put what you are strongest at first and what the posting asked for first within that. Readers stop after a few items. Indexes do not, so nothing is lost by having a long tail after the important ones.
Do not list what you cannot discuss
Every term in that block is an invitation to a question. If a line contains something you touched once in a tutorial, remove it. The cost of a failed follow up question is much higher than the benefit of one extra keyword.
Leave out the ratings
Star ratings and percentage bars mean nothing consistent between two candidates, and they do not index. If you want to signal depth, do it with evidence in the experience section instead.
